We get asked all the time
if we can install our solar screens over a glass
block window. If it's a window, we can
install a solar screen over it. There's
always a frame of sorts around the glass block
window. It is this frame that we screw the
solar screen to. There are true glass
block windows where there's an aluminum frame
with mortar stacked glass block between the
frame, then there are the plastic look-alike
fake glass block windows which are made out of
vinyl that have a vinyl molding (frame) around
it. It's these outside frames that we
screw the solar screen to. See the above

side of the screen and the right side.
